When a wheelchair basketball team checks into the Tipton, Zack and Cody are inspired by the team's coach, Daryl, to invite their friend at school who was recently confined to a wheelchair after an unfortunate accident, to join them in an exhibition game against Daryl's team.
The Tipton's chef walks out (again), leaving a more-than-willing Cody to do all the cooking.
"Baggage" is the 6th episode of the third season of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. After Cody and the bully become the final two contestants, the bully offers Zack another out: get Cody to lose, "or else." Also, Mr. Tipton threatens to cut off London's allowance if she doesn't get a job and learn the meaning of earning a dollar.
But after Zack borrows money from Cody's toughest competitor and has not way of paying him back, Zack is forced to ask Cody to throw the competition so competitor will forgive his brother's debts. Zach and Cody take an aptitude test. He finally borrows $30 at 20% interest from a rather large bully. All the guests (except Zack) show up at London's party for the free stuff, while only Zack makes it to Maddie's party ('cause we all know how much he loves her).

B-story: Arwin drives Moseby crazy with his plan to improve the hotel's efficiency with a variety of mechanical contraptions. Zack steals Cody's spotlight when on a camping trip with Mr. Moesby. Mr. Tipton is hosting an exhibition of some ancient artifacts from a neighboring country of Esteban's homeland. The school is putting on the Shakespeare classic, but when Cody and his new girlfriend Gwen try out for the leads, Cody is cast as a tree while Zack gets the starring role, a part that requires him to kiss his co-star, Gwen.
When his mom won't give him money, he borrows from everyone else in the hotel. Cody wins. Zack & Cody become contestants on an elaborate local game show, while Maddie tries to delete an angry e-mail of hers that London sent to Mr. Moseby for her. Also, the employees of the hotel compete for Employee of the Month.
Paradise? Zack convinces Cody, Jessica and Janice to go to a scary movie, but when it's Zack who ends up with nightmares Cody takes advantage of the situation. Esteban is upset because in the process of trying to save London from a Bag stealer, he gets beat up and London knocks the bag stealer unconscious. Zack and Cody audition for a school play to meet girls. Since Zack's team has virtually unlimited financial resources for his campaign--while Cody tries honesty to win over votes, it's naturally a landslide in Zack's favor. When Zack and Cody try to repair a wall they accidentally damaged in the hotel, the hole they make reveals a room full of girls; London attends the same school with Maddie, but everything goes bad.
But Kurt has other intentions with her boyfriend. Zack and Cody try to invite an old friend of theirs to join their team, who recently became a paraplegic himself after a car accident. Zack and Cody are excited that their Dad is in town visiting, but all three try to deal with Mom dating a new boyfriend. He finally borrows $30 at 20% interest from a rather large bully. Zack ends up using the bike more than Cody even though Cody put up most of the money. Zack is thrilled when he learns he's going to become a titan of industry, but Cody is depressed when the test tells him that he's going to grow up to be a garbage man. Moseby makes the twins find Tippy before he does or their mom is fired. Zack steals Cody's spotlight when on a camping trip with Mr. Moesby. A competing mini mart across the street challenges the Paul Revere Mini Mart to a bagging competition. The fun continues in season 2 as twin brothers Zack & Cody live with their single mom in Boston's swankiest hotel. The only problem is that Jolie doesn't speak English and Moseby has to translate every word as the boys try to convince Jolie which twin she should choose to be her boyfriend. It's International Appreciation Day at Zack and Cody's school and Zack decides to ask Moseby's hotel guest, Kumiko, the famous Japanese Opera star, to be his "show and tell" for his school project.
Without telling Esteban, London and Maddie plan to set it up again using Arwin. While stranded at the Tipton, Raven Baxter (Raven-Symone) has a vision that Cody is in danger; Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) arrives at the hotel.
The hotel owner’s spoiled daughter, London, and the candy-counter-girl turned part-time babysitter, Maddie are unknowingly along for the ride as the boys cause mischief, mayhem, and various catastrophes in their elegant new digs. Maddie ends up getting hired by London to work at her new boutique. A hawk causes chaos at the Tipton, until Cody realizes it's actually protecting it's egg.
Arwin could win a trophy and a kiss from Carey, if he ends up winning an annual competition for "Hotel Engineers"; in which the boys help Arwin train and compete. Who will come to their rescue? They hear that the horse man for the Tipton is retiring. Moseby has been ostracized by him since childhood, but soon discovers that his brother is bankrupt. Cody's been tapped to be the editor in chief for the school newspaper but when Zack begs for a position on the paper, the only job that is left for him is the advice column. Esteban tries to win $1000 for his sister's Quinceañera by entering the Tipton Hotel dance competition, and recruiting other Tipton employees. Cody's extracurricular activity is canceled at school, so he decides to join wood shop. Cody becomes fed up with Zack's sloppy housekeeping and moves into the entry closet which he customizes into an enviable bachelor's pad. Zack is also in wood shop and excels in it. When Zack and Cody run against each other for class president, they find out who their friends (who have to be bribed to vote) really are. London and Maddie fight over a boy that they both like. Zack has nightmares after seeing a scary movie without his mother's approval. But the plan backfires when he loses miserably to her. Zack and Cody audition for a school play to meet girls. The Tipton employees compete against the St. Marks' employees. The entire staff of the Tipton Hotel goes crazy trying to impress Mr. Moesby for Employee of the Month. While Cody is preparing for the Boston Spelling Bee, Zack tries to borrow money from his mom for video games. London steals the story from Maddy and refuses to admit that she stole it.
