I know wat u mean I invested loads of tt into that bloody axe and now just sits in bonfire item box because I'm trying to collect every weapon ,IMO all the special boss weapons seem underwhelming .
You lose almost no physical damage and damn near double the lighting damage, at least for my 20/50 str/fth build.
I keep a mace on hand for heavier armors but I'm thinking the club might be better in that case, the lighting mace was a contender for the axe's slot but it swings a bit too slow and it manages to not reach the physical or lighting damage that the axe deals at my relatively low str level.
