We counsel the public about the physical and emotional needs of chinchillas, so they learn how to provide them with a healthy, safe and happy life. We're located in the great pacific northwest, just outside of Seattle, Washington. We started with one woman that had a life changing experience with animals and found herself looking down a life path that she had to follow.

Since Jedi's birth, I have attended more shows to develop an understanding of the qualities to strive for when breeding. lives here or not. We highly encourage all chinchilla guardians to educate themselves fully about these beautiful and wonderful animals. Starting with my first two female chinchillas back in 2010, I was soon smitten with their quirky personalities and, of course, their amazing fur! This has consisted of medical care, a spacious and clean living environment, a healthy diet, exercise, rehabilitation and unlimited love. Filter. I have standard lines as well as violet, beige, ebony, black velvet and white. In March 2013, I attended my first ECBC Nationals show. We also provide awareness of the hardships and mass breeding of chinchillas on ranches for the pelting and pet industries.

The homeless crisis is very prevalant in the Northeast. I am a breed of high quality chinchillas located in Washington northeast of Seattle just outside of downtown Monroe with 17 years of experience with chinchillas. We will travel to MA, NH, RI, VT, areas of ME, NY, PA and of course throughout CT, to pick up chinchillas in need of a home. Chinchillas are very happy, feisty critters and have a tremendous amount of energy.

I am currently at approximately 20 breeding females and have had dozens kits. At the beginning of the listing, I tell you what state the chinchilla is living in, so please keep this in mind as you will be the one to travel to where the chinchilla is located to adopt him/her.

Because our foster homes are private homes, we do not have daily or scheduled hours during which we receive visitors. We already have many chinchillas that live at our rescue and we are asked to take an average of 45 chinchillas a month. This means we will list chinchillas from other states, as well as CT who need homes, but are still currently living with their guardians. While I didn't get into chinchillas thinking I would start breeding them, I was quickly drawn in by the genetics involved. Being a TOV white mosaic, he was white with a dark side. Our goal is to help pet chinchilla owners avoid the tragedy of dumping, kill shelters, and th e dangers of “Free to Good Home.” This list of volunteers allows you to find someone near you who is familiar with chinnies to possibly take in rescues or provide you with a chinchilla rescue in need of a home.
I continue to show several times each year at the local and national levels. All animals started out as wild. This rescue was started because of the overwhelming love and respect one woman has for the intelligence, beauty and trust that animals show on a daily basis. Our rescue is devoted exclusively to chinchillas and we are the only full time chinchilla rescue in the New England area.
