Would it be prying to ask what you had to pay for this one? You must log in or register to reply here. I'm looking forward to this. Yep, older thread but I would think It's relevant to say I've heard TrustFires in the 10440 size are actually pretty good. They couldn't have picked a better member to do this as you have a great deal of experience with RGB lasers. Hey, Chris. Nice AD, I'll be looking forward to it also!

10 seconds exposure with low ISO, both the laser and camera pointing straight up.
very nice, i was just playing with my 488nm Pocket yesterday. This is the first laser I buy since that notorious green-303 10 years ago, laser technology surely has advanced much... Automatic settings.
I’m sure that many eyeballs will be glued to this link for future information. Turns out regular shipping from China to Taiwan is not available, and Francis promptly sent the laser via FedEx (It arrived 3 days later on 10/12).
I was just on their site looking at this laser. Looking forward to reading and seeing your thoughts Arctic on such a promising build. The anti static bag contains a microfibre cloth, battery and the laser…
Was there a purchase involved or did they just want to send you one free of charge? I see you got a Trustfire battery.
I reviewed the same exact model on here a few months ago.
I hope you didn't have to pay much for that battery. The worksmanship of the host is excellent as expected from Sanwu, with no visible seams when the threads are fully tightened. It may not display this or other websites correctly.
), I decided to go to my dormitory's rooftop at 3AM to take some pics.

Also laser stand made from LEGO bricks.

I ordered a 5W, Striker Saber, 470nm, at the worst possible time, January 23rd, just as the Coronavirus was shutting down China. Packaging: The goods came in an anti-static bag, which was contained in 3 layers of bubble wrap enveloppes. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend Sanwu to any laser enthusiasts (and 492nm is beautiful!! For a better experience, please enable JavaScript in your browser before proceeding.
For a better experience, please enable JavaScript in your browser before proceeding. Tero is a great choice, having already built a RGB pointer using an Optlasers single mode module, as well as his photography skills, I don't even have a real camera! I would love them to do a 589 in this series also. which Is funny because I never play with it in fear of dropping it and breaking it. I doubt I would ever pay what I think they will ask for these, so my interest is purely academic.
I ordered a pair from Sanwu, and it seems to do its job very well. Very nice review.
After 3 weeks of nothingness I contacted Francis whether something is wrong. I was going to unscrew the battery cap and I realised I was turning the other end. I will update this thread, as I will gather more experience with unit.
Have Fun and Take Care!
Hi all, Here is a review of the Sanwu "Pocket" laser, the 60mW 488nm laser pointer.
JavaScript is disabled. I have the 60mW 488 version in the same host, amazing laser, that sky blue color is awesome. Yeah, that Engraving they did with Sanwu and the power and wavelength is really cool, I haven't seen that on one before.

My first impressions are: Well machined and incredibly small RGB unit! He later asked me to order a tritium vial for reimbursement of the shipping upgrade, which I would do as soon as I receive my salary. You must be able to buy these batteries from somewhere in the UK. :yh: Great choice, I'm looking forward to what you provide, as everything you do, it will certainly be a very nicely done review.
I'm sure it'll be a great review. You are using an out of date browser. Hopefully it'll finally be released to us along with the lpm. I am looking forward to your review. They are garbage, plain and simple. I appreciate your review, it is great to see a member from 2007 post again ,sanwu has always had a good quality with countless compliments, you were right to choose this company as the place to restart your passion, love this preview ! Got my fingers on the  button! Of all the shades of blue there are, colours at the cyan end of the spectrum are definitely the loveliest to me. I'll bet there are more than a few envious members here since you got one of these to review. Anything would be better than a Trustfire battery.
If you paid anything at all for it......it was too much. It may not display this or other websites correctly.
For this wavelength and power level, I would trust it to protect my vision. I can barely see the dot with the goggles on, and if shone through, no significant amounts of light gets through (no apparent dot behind the goggles). WOW, Tero! You are using an out of date browser.
Considering the higher power, I eventually decided to get the 492 instead of the 488.
Podo does great work.
lol! Awesome review.
This is my first day impressions of Sanwu RGB unit.
You know, once you let those photons out like that, you can never get them back, they are far too fast to catch again. Thought I would share my experience with Sanwu Lasers, for anyone thinking of ordering.
Nice review. It really is a great little laser.
The first time I know that relatively affordable cyan lasers exist I immediately want one lol. That is not a good thing as those are notorious for being crap. I'm curious what price, if any, they wanted for one. but when I do use it it still amazes me to know I have a wavelength that just a couple years ago was over $1000.
It's true, I just realised you can focus the lens. Kudos to Sanwu and Podo for making a truly inspired choice!
I was offered to get one to review with him too, but sending pointers through the APO, AE mail system, it would be confiscated, couldn't do it, happy Tero could do so though. Hello!
Well, same model minus the engraving - kinda jealous of that, honestly.
That looks great, interested in seeing more.
